Meet Dr. Brown

A Native Texan, Dr Brown received her DVM from University of Minnesota in 2000.

Dr Mary Lillian Brown limits her practice to Veterinary Dentistry and Orofacial Surgery. She received her residency training in anesthesia, dentistry, orofacial surgery at The University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Teaching Hospital 2001-2003.

Dr Brown has been successfully practicing general and advanced Veterinary
Dentistry and Orofacial Surgery on a referral basis in the Dallas-Fort Worth
metroplex for the past four years. She was pleased to open the Park Cities Central for Veterinary Dentistry and Orofacial Surgery on Lovers Lane March 15, 2008.

As a senior veterinary student, one of Dr. Brown's first dental
patients was an African lion. It is okay if your kitty is a little smaller.

Dr Brown has taught both as an intern and resident in the veterinary teaching hospitals where she was a clinician, and in the Dallas-Fort Worth veterinary community for the last 4 years.

Dr Brown developed training curriculum in anesthesia, preventative dentistry,
and diagnostic dental radiography which she has taught to veterinarians and
technicians at private practices and in workshops for CE approved by the
TBVME for the past 4 years. She continues to offer regular education
"rounds" in digital radiography and preventative dentistry at Park Cities Central.

Dr Brown also volunteers regularly to help teach dental radiography,
anesthesia, and veterinary dentistry through the Amigos de los Animales de
Guanajuato charity to veterinarians in and around Guanajuato, Mexico.

Dr Brown has extensive management and customer service experience in her general and professional work history prior to becoming a veterinarian.

Dr Brown lives in Dallas near the Dallas Arboretum and is an avid gardener. She has four dogs and two cats that she loves dearly. She is currently having her yard certified as a Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
