Testimonials
I rescued my dog Calvin from the Westie Rescue League of North Texas in September of 2007. When I got him they told me he had some teeth problems and the vet had already pulled 5 of his teeth. Because of this, I kept close watch on his mouth. In February of 2008 I noticed his breath was a lot worse and scheduled a teeth cleaning for him. It turns out that he had a lot of exposed roots due to all the neglect he had suffered. Josey Ranch Pet Hospital suggested that Dr. Brown take a look at him. I brought Calvin in the next Friday and Dr. Brown confirmed the worst - Calvin's mouth was in terrible shape and in order for him to maintain a healthy lifestyle, she would have to pull some of his teeth. It turns out his mouth was in such bad condition she could only save 4. When I came to Josey Ranch to pick him up, Dr. Brown met with me and talked to me for a long time about the procedure she had performed and the care I would need to give Calvin during recovery and afterwards. She also said that I would have a brand new dog, and she was right! After only a couple days it was amazing how much more energy he had! When I adopted Calvin, his age was estimated at 9 but he was acting like he was only 2 or 3 years old. He played a lot more, he was eating better and I could tell that he was a lot happier. Dr. Brown took a keen interest in his recovery and I could tell then and I can still tell now that she truly, passionately cares about how he is doing. When I first met Dr. Brown I could tell that she loved animals, and she put my mind at ease in regards to Calvin's recovery and about his prognosis for a healthy recovery. I was so impressed by her work that I am telling the Westie Rescue League of North Texas about the great work she did with Calvin. He had such a hard life until he was rescued, and thanks to Dr. Brown he is healthier and happier and I look forward to spending many years with my little friend. Without Dr. Brown's assistance this would not have been possible, and Calvin and I owe her our thanks and gratitude.

Dr. Brown is absolutely the best! Not only is she a highly skilled vet and an expert in the area of veterinary dentistry, she is also extremely kind and caring to the pets she treats and their humans. Dr. Brown diagnosed an advanced case of FORLs in one of our cats, only two years old at diagnosis, which is a disease that we'd never even heard of. Thanks to Dr. Brown's diagnosis, initial treatment and continued monitoring of this insidious disease, Katy's good health and quality of life have been restored. Ken and I and Rachel, Katy's sister, are very thankful to Dr. Brown for taking such excellent care of our Katy!

Dear Dr Brown,
Recently when we came to see you about the retained teeth in our Chinese
Crested puppy we were not only impressed by your knowledge and abilities, we
were quite taken with your bed side manners. We left the consult with the
confidence we needed to make a decision regarding the little ones’ teeth. We
also had no qualms that the care you would give her would be the best
available.
We are writing now to thank you for doing such a wonderful job. Cinder
never suffered a moment’s discomfort. She woke up from the anesthesia and
immediately began tending to the busy duties that young puppies invent to keep
their unsuspecting owners on their toes. She behaved as though she had gone
for a walk in the park instead of having major dental extractions.
Finding a good Vet is just a valuable as having a good auto mechanic. When
you find one you are willing to follow their business anywhere. It is our
intention to refer you to all our friends and prospective puppy owners.
Sincerely,
Susan Miller and Marian Blackman

PS: Love your Tats’!
A visit with Dr. Brown may not seem convenient or inexpensive but it's definitely worth it if you love your 4-legged child!
Dr. Brown was recommended to us by our primary vet - who had just cleaned our dog's teeth and felt a closer inspection was needed. And thank goodness... Dr. Brown's extensive experience, detailed attention and superior caring saved our youngest from eventually loosing all her teeth and more extensive periodontal disease.
We were so pleased with Dr. Brown and her staff care, we took our 14 yr old to see her as well. She benefited by Dr. Brown's experience and state of the art knowledge as well. And an extra bonus is that Dr. Brown gives the kids a complete check-up while they are in her care. So yes, we will continue making the trip from Hurst to Dallas to see Dr. Brown.
